It's not a cookie

We have had a lot going on the past few weeks - and had a lot of fun visitors. I will be updating about that soon and putting up pictures, but in the meantime....
I am the Activity Day leader in my ward (which I LOVE doing!!!) and for our activity last night we cleaned the sacrament trays. Not the most fun activity I know - but it needed to be done and the girls were so cute and glad we were doing it when they saw how dirty they were. Anyway - I took them treats to have after while we were practicing our Articles of Faith and going over the upcoming activities. One of those treats was those store bought sugar cookies that are super soft and have way too much frosting on them and sprinkles. I didn't think the girls would eat any because there were other better options there, but they did - they ate all but 3.

This morning, Jaxon saw them sitting on the table and asked if he could eat a cookie, I told him no and went to go feed Addison. After a few mins I came out to check on Jaxon and he was shoving one of the cookies into his mouth. So I start walking over to him to get them and I say - "Jaxon, we don't eat cookies for breakfast" to which he replies - "its not a cookie - its a pancake".

Oh that's a pancake? What was my mom feeding me then all those years and calling a pancake? I guess if it's a pancake its ok to eat for breakfast - eat up Jax! LOL

  1. Hahaha! I told Trevor about this, and he thought that you actually told Jaxon to keep eating the cookies, and was confused at your parenting tactics. Lol ;)

  3. I totally had Oreo bars for breakfast yesterday. I feel strongly that Jaxon just recognized the good things in life and wants to make sure he gets them in as fast and early as he can. :) Way to be, Jaxon. Way to be. :)
