I have been SOOOO bad at taking pictures lately. I got a few pictures of 4th of July activities - so I will post those later, but I thought I should at least document these events.
Fathers Day
Jaxon and I woke up and made Dan his favorite breakfast - french toast! Then, after church we had a "little" snack - BLT'S (another one of Dan's favorites) before we went over to the Garners to celebrate Father's Day with them. My dad was out of town for a wedding, so even though we didn't get to see him, we called and wished him a happy Father's Day and told him how much we love and appreciate him. Then we went to the Garner's and had fun with papa! Jaxon LOVES his grandpa's! He gets so excited when he see's them. I feel so blessed to have such amazing men in Jaxon's life to be examples to him.
My dad is AMAZING. I look up to him so much. I have always been kind of a daddy's girl and I have such a love and respect for my dad.
My other dad (Dan's dad) is also AMAZING! He is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. He has loved and welcomed me into the family and treated me like one of his own children from the first time I met him.
Dan is my amazing husband and wonderful father to our son (and soon to be other child). He works so hard in law school so he can provide a good life for us and we love and appreciate him so much!!!
The 4th of July
We woke up and went over to the neighborhood breakfast that my neighborhood has done, well ever since I can remember! It was a great presentation and delicious breakfast - and of coarse Jaxon had a blast with all the other kids playing on the neighbors swing set. Then we went mini golfing with my family. I was worried Jaxon would just run around and we would be chasing him the entire time - but he actually stayed with us and did REALLY well - the only problem was he wanted to hit all the balls instead of just his haha - but after a few holes we figured out how to keep him entertained after he hit his ball so it all worked out great. After that we got lunch and went home so Jax could take his nap. The rest of the day we played games, had a BBQ, hung out, and then went to the Sandy City firework show. We took Jaxon last year and he LOVED the fireworks - so we figured this year he would love them even more. Well when they started he was so scared and I had to hold him really tight or he would start crying and get more scared. But that only lasted 1 or 2 mins... because he turned around and saw my dad watching them and he asked to go sit with papa so I passed him back and he was fine lol. He was pointing and getting all excited at the fireworks. It was a great day! Pictures to come soon!
